12kg Washing & 8kg Drying Capacity

The Hisense WD5S1245BB is designed for households that need plenty of laundry capacity. Its 12kg wash capacity can handle large quantities of clothing, towels, bedding and other household fabrics, while the 8kg drying capacity allows you to dry a substantial load after washing.

The combination makes it particularly useful for large households where laundry is done frequently.

Wash and Dry in One Machine

One of the biggest advantages of the WD5S1245BB is its 2-in-1 washer dryer design.

Instead of buying a washing machine and separate tumble dryer, you can wash and dry your laundry in the same appliance. This saves floor space and makes laundry more convenient, especially in apartments and homes where installation space is limited.

Simply load your laundry, select the appropriate programme and let the machine handle the washing and drying process.

Auto Dosing for Convenient Detergent Management

The Auto Dosing system automatically dispenses the appropriate amount of detergent, helping reduce detergent waste while maintaining consistent washing performance.

This is particularly useful for busy households because you don’t have to manually measure detergent for every wash.

Powerful Jet Wash Cleaning

The WD5S1245BB features Jet Wash technology, which uses powerful water jets to improve the interaction between water, detergent and clothing.

This helps deliver effective cleaning while making the washing process more convenient for everyday laundry.

Steam Wash & Steam Care

The WD5S1245BB incorporates Pure Steam technology to provide additional fabric care.

Steam can help refresh clothing, reduce unpleasant odours and minimise creasing. Hisense also provides dedicated Allergy Steam Care and Baby Steam Care programmes for households looking for additional steam-based fabric care.

The Kenyan product information also highlights steam technology for removing bacteria, yeast and allergens from clothing.

Durable Inverter Motor

The Hisense inverter motor is designed to adjust motor operation according to the washing requirements.

Compared with conventional motor technology, the inverter system provides:

• Reduced vibration
• Lower operating noise
• Improved energy efficiency
• Smooth motor operation
• Reliable long-term performance

Hisense specifically describes the inverter system as providing efficient performance while reducing noise and vibration.

1400 RPM Spin Speed

With a maximum spin speed of 1400 RPM, the WD5S1245BB efficiently removes water from clothes during the spin cycle.

Removing more water before drying can help reduce the amount of time required to dry your laundry, making the washer dryer particularly practical during rainy or humid weather.

ConnectLife Smart Control

The WD5S1245BB supports Wi-Fi connectivity through the Hisense ConnectLife app.

With ConnectLife, you can access smart functions such as:

• Remote monitoring
• Remote control
• Energy monitoring
• Water consumption monitoring
• Smart Wizard
• Maintenance information
• Smart wash-and-dry functions

The official Hisense specification confirms Wi-Fi connectivity, washing wizard, energy monitoring and wash-and-dry linkage.

Pause & Add Function

Forgot to put a shirt or pair of trousers into the washing machine?

The Pause & Add function allows you to pause the washing cycle and add forgotten laundry, subject to the operating conditions of the selected programme.

Drum Clean Function

Regular drum cleaning helps maintain a hygienic washing machine and reduce unwanted odours.

The WD5S1245BB includes a dedicated Drum Clean programme for cleaning the interior of the washing machine.
